They will be proudly linking there Stashbusting projects over at my review site:
Stashbusting September blogs are voluntarily giving up buying crafting supplies for the month of September. They promise to:
- Link your blog (the main page please not an individual post) to the linky below. The linky will be open until September 4th at Midnight.
- Craft for personal use only with items they have on hand. No buying new craft supplies, even if you are shopping at Goodwill or garage sales. It is all about busting your craft supply at hand and actually doing those projects you bought all the stash for in the first place. (Buying craft supplies for business use IS permitted)
- Think of unique and creative ways to use items they were thinking of throwing out (diaper boxes to fabric covered storage bins, pencil holders from soup cans, upcycled clothing, etc.)
- Think outside of the box.
- Try to make at least one upcycled craft item this month. Upcycled craft items from Stashbusting September can be entered into the Stashbusting contest for a rocking prize from our top secret for now, sponsor.
- Proudly post the Stashbusting September button on their website so everyone knows they are busting some stash.
- Check back here to find out other blogs that are busting some stash.
- During Stashbusting September we will still have the "Upcycled Awesome" linky party. I just love all of the inspiration. To be entered in the Stashbusting September contest (the link will be up September 1st) you must link your project up to the Stashbusting September link.
- Encourage all of your bloggy friends to join up:

Now that I've signed up, I am nervous. I've done one month fasts from the thrift store twice this year but to make such a strong promise!!
OK, I'm in!
I'm in and I am trying my hardest not to come up with a 50 item "grocery" list for the craft store in the next week and a half.
I know it will be hard, but you can all do it! I wouldn't have the challenge if I didn't think we could all do it.
Thanks for hosting this party. It'll be a good for me. I have a list of projects that NEED to get done, and this is the kick in the tookus I need! I put a post about this on my my blog and hopefully get more bloggers out there to commit!
Have a faboo day!

I'm so nervous about this. But I'm telling myself that it should be no big deal, I have SO many things that need to be completed. And some really cool free stuff that people have given that I just need to figure out what to do with them.
This is going to be hard, not being able to treasure hunt at thrift stores and estates sales. But I have plenty of stuff to create for months !!!
This will be FUN! The no thrift store shopping will be the hardest. I already keep a NO SHOPPING list posted. A list of "stuff" I have too many of.
I'm already planning what to do woth an excessive number of t-shirts, skeins of yarn, boxes of buttons, etc./
So glad that I found your blog today. I've just had a major craft room overhaul and rediscovered how much stuff I have. Looking forward to September now. Yay!
I'm SO excited...Now I have an excuse to start diving into my hoard, I MEAN stash! This is gonna be like searchin for buried treasure:)
I'm a new follower, too!
Happy Tuesday
New follower---found you through Craftopotomous.
This is perfect! I honestly have 3 bags of stuff from Michaels and Hobbly Lobby sitting on my table waiting for me to get busy. Can't wait!

Okay.. I am going to do this for the whole month, however.. I think I may NEED to make an emergency stop at the craft store BEFORE tomorrow for the 1 or 2 items I need for some projects I had in mind. More tools than supplies!
Your newest follower!

Okay. I'm doing this. My only question is where do i link up projects? I don't see that link cause i'm BLIND!!!!! I will be the one who asks all the silly questions... I apologize in advance. :)
Now, the challenge is on!
I really want to do this but I'm too sick (and okay lazy feeling) to go take all the stash photos right now. Heh.
Just completed my first stash busting creation!
