So grab your favorite T-shirt and lets get creative together.
You will need:
- T-Shirt
- Scissors
- Sewing Machine or Serger
So grab a T-shirt or two and whip up a quick bag. You will be in shock at how much you will use this soft T-shirt bag.
Start by laying your shirt flat on your cutting surface.I love finding random T-shirts from Goodwill and using them. I have no idea if Northstar Lacrosse really exists, but I love the color.Lay a circular object on the neck of the T-shirt. You want the bag to have a wide enough opening so that you can put plenty of goodies in it.
Trace a circular around the neck. I used a fabulous fading marker that leaves no trace of even existing after 48 hours.
Cut out your neck with scissors.
Cut off the sleeves. I have a crazy addiction to my circular cutter but you can definitely use regular scissors. I cut on the inside of where the sleeve meets the rest of the shirt.
I love my circular cutter.
Turn your T-shirt inside out and sew a straight line across the bottom. I used a serger, if you are using a standard sewing machine you will want to use a straight stitch and then follow up with a zig-zag stitch for added strength.
I like to use fray check on the ends of pretty much everything I sew. I just hate when things fray. Voila, you are totally done with your entire project. turn it inside out and you have a T-shirt Bag to tote everything around in.
The finished project is ready to go!
Enjoy and let me know how it goes.
